About TompAero
TompAero builds unmanned aircraft to the safety standards of manned aircraft.
Our story
TompAero is a French aeronautical company. We design aircraft and autonomous piloting systems to the strictest EASA certification requirements, for a high level of safety on every mission. Our aim is to optimise air operations and cut their running costs, so that going by air is always the best option.
TompAero started from an entrepreneur’s observation. The founder’s wife, a hospital medical biologist, described the logistics problems her department faced: medical equipment stuck in transit and delays incompatible with patients’ needs. He saw an opportunity.
An aeronautical engineer, he answered it with his technical skills: certified aviation. That origin shapes TompAero’s method: a need first, then the technology that serves it, not the other way around.
